Fall in Montgomery County 2018

It’s officially fall in Montgomery County this weekend and we have a list of great events happening to commemorate the season!
Apple Festival and Campfire
Who: Open to the public, $8 a person
Where: Meadowside Nature Center
When: 6-8 p.m., Sept. 21, 2018
What: Apple cider pressing, apple lore, hands-on-activities, live music, and making
s’mores at the campfire ring. Register ahead of time.
Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival
Who: Open to the public, Free
Where: In and around Wheaton Veterans Urban Park
When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sept. 23, 2018
What: The Wheaton Arts Parade invites artists and residents of all ages, especially those in Wheaton and Montgomery County, to make art and join the parade. There will be floats but no cars, just people pushing, pulling, carrying, wearing and performing their art. Whether or not you join the parade, come and watch them strut their stuff and enjoy the Arts Festival. More than 40 local artists will have their work on display and for sale. There will be two stages of live performances, children’s art activities and a Food Court featuring some of Wheaton’s favorite restaurants.
Evening on the Creek
Who: Anyone 21+, $32.30 (if purchased by Sept 19) & $38 (if purchased after Sept 19)
Where: The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek
When: 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 19, 2018
What: Enjoy a delightful evening at the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek! Unwind by the fireplace with friends, enjoy live music and catch the lantern tour of the creek at dusk.
Make it out to one of these great events, or the many others this fall in Montgomery County, and have a little seasonal fun! When you do go to these events, make a stop at The Daley on your way for a tour.
